Terms of Service
These terms are a contract between you and Varion Team LTD (Company No. 17230615, 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom) — the operator of whatbotssay.com (“the Service”). By using the Service you agree to them.
1. What the Service is
WhatBotsSay monitors how AI answer engines (such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews) mention brands. We run buyer-style prompts, analyse the answers, score visibility, and send alerts when results change.
Important: AI answers are probabilistic and change between runs. Scores, share-of-voice and leaderboards are directional snapshots, not guarantees, audits or professional advice. We are not affiliated with the AI providers or the brands mentioned in results.
2. Accounts
Sign-in is passwordless via email magic links. You are responsible for access to your email inbox. You must be at least 16 and provide accurate information.
3. Fair use
- No automated scraping, bulk querying or reselling of scan results outside your organisation.
- No attempts to bypass rate limits, plan limits or security measures.
- No unlawful use, and no submitting content you have no right to submit.
We may throttle, suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
4. Plans, billing and refunds
- Paid plans (currently Starter $39/month and Pro $99/month) are billed monthly in advance via Stripe and renew automatically.
- Cancel anytime via Manage billing — cancellation stops future renewals; access continues to the end of the paid period.
- First-time subscribers may request a full refund within 14 days of their first payment. Renewal payments are non-refundable.
- Prices may change; we will give at least 14 days’ notice before a change affects you.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, its design and software remain ours. Your scan inputs remain yours; you grant us a licence to process them to provide the Service. Aggregated, non-identifying insights (such as public category leaderboards) may be published by us.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made based on AI-generated results. Our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid us in that period (or £50 if you paid none). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.
7. Termination
You can stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate the Service or an account for breach of these terms, with notice where practicable.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
